found on a bulletin board in the teachers' lounge at an elementary
school in South Los Angeles.
It provides verifiable
proof that the anti-war movement seeks to indoctrinate children and
young people ("youth") through an effort "to bring the Iraq war
and the anti-war movement into our classrooms."

The organization's web
site (www.educatorstostopthewar.org)
brags that a New York City conference in the spring attracted over 750
educators, including those who taught "K-12" (kindergarten
through 12th grade). Among the conference speakers were a high school
teacher; a high school student; and
Medea Benjamin, the cofounder of the far-left organization
Code Pink.
Teachers in the Los
Angeles Unified School District should be aware that a one-sided
presentation of any hot-button issue appears to be a clear
violation of their contract (Article XXV, 1.0.c.: Go

1.0 Lesson Content: In the investigation,
presentation and interpretation of facts and ideas within
the prescribed course of study, teachers shall be free to
examine, present and responsibly discuss various points of
view in an atmosphere of open inquiry, provided that the
instruction, material, or discussion:

c. is a fair and balanced academic presentation of
various points of view consistent with accepted standards of
professional responsibility, rather than advocacy,
personal opinion, bias or partisanship.

elementary school ... That wouldn't be a problem?
